Kenya Safari, 20 Days
Visited February 2025Boso Tours Safaris are the best! You will not be disappointed!
This was my second trip with Boso Tours Safaris and it did not disappoint! It was for almost 3 weeks. Lydia is so helpful with everything from setting up the safari to payments and advice. Our driver/guide Geff is the best. He knows all the parks like the back of his hand and is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife. He will share lots of knowledge with you and you will not only see things you have never seen or even expected, but you will learn as well. We had so many surprise moments it was wonderful! We saw over 75 different species, never mind how many of each one. I am a professional photographer and have been very happy with their services. Will I use Boso Tours again? You bet I will!

Visited August 2025Perfectly Planned Safari – Highly Recommend Boso Tours
I had an incredible safari in Kenya with Boso Tours. All the accommodations were excellent, the services were top-notch, and Lydia and her team arranged everything smoothly from start to finish. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I highly recommend Boso Tours to anyone planning an African safari.
Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar
Visited August 2025While we liked most of the accommodations, the few that we didn’t care for are ones she has upgraded to better lodges based on our feedback. We expect those who go with Boso after us will have an even better time with the itinerary upgrades (while keeping the prices down).
We saw every animal that we wanted to see and many more, and enjoyed watching the animal behavior and learning about the animals from Lydia and the guides. Lydia has worked with the guides, and they were very good. We especially liked City, our Uganda guide, and Juma, our Tanzania guide.
Lydia was helpful with suggestions of where to stay in Africa before our trip, and also was willing to help me with a trip we planned between Uganda and Kenya
Kenya Womens Only
Visited March 2023From the start Lydia was so easy to work with, she has an itinerary, ready with the places you’re staying the activities that will be taking place the time it takes to get to the new locations etc. Lydia is great with communication and responds promptly. The driver and guide Geoff is the best of the best, he is untouched when it comes to safaris. He is kind, respectful and so informative. He exp lains the animals and their habits but he knows exactly how to find and spot the animals, even if they’re miles away.
Money wise this your was well under my budget which was worth it. Having already gone on the tour I would still say it’s worth more, so the value for this tour is definitely well worth it.
I will be going on more tours with this company with groups and with my family. I can’t wait to see what Lydia has in store for other countries in Africa.
Kenya Womens Only
Visited March 2023I would join this tour again in a second. From start to finish, Lydia had every detail covered. She walked us through all we needed to do for preparation for the trip. She answered every question, including those we never thought to ask. By the time I met Lydia in person, it was like meeting a friend.
The tour itself was beyond my expectations and imagination. The wildlife was stunning, s o amazing that it was almost too easy to forget to look at the amazing landscape. Geff made the game drives such a memorable experience. He went above and beyond to give us opportunities to see wildlife up close (safely of course) and shared his vast knowledge.
The accommodations were very comfortable and relaxing. The staff at each place were delightful. Often no air conditioning (which i expected) but the cool rag I brought took care of that. Food choices were far more than I anticipated, particularly as I am vegetarian. Even as relaxing at dinner or looking from our balconies/windows at most the places, we saw wildlife.
A few suggestions for taking this tour (and it is worth every penny and more). Bring more shorts or convertible pants than pants. You are in the truck for the safari much of the time. You will want at least one pair of good closed toed walking shoes but rugged sandals were fine most of the time. I brought a cool rag which definitely helped, especially on the coast where it was so humid.
If this review does to state it enough, Lydia, Gefd, the safari, all of it helped create a trip of a lifetime.
Kenya Womens Only
Visited March 2023This trip was the experience of a lifetime for me. It was good mix to observe the animals and to gain some insight into culture of the people. No effort was spared to make this safari a success. The personal attention given to us travelers and to our surroundings along the way was superb.
It can’t get any better than that. I highly recommend Lydia and her company.
